Jennifer Carroll Foy has endorsed Kecia.  Jennifer is the previous Virginia Delegate representing House District 2.  She also ran for the Democratic nomination for Governor of Virginia. 

Kecia has been endorsed by the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus. The mission of the VLBC is to improve the economic, educational, political, and social conditions of African Americans and other underrepresented groups in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Thanks to the steadfast advocacy of the members of the VLBC and their colleagues, the General Assembly has made critical investments in infrastructure, included COVID-19 relief and support for Virginians, and elected a historic slate of judges to the Virginia Court of Appeals. Delegate Elizabeth Guzman has endorsed Kecia. Guzman represents House District 31, which borders the northwest corner of HD-88. She also ran for the Democratic nomination for Lieutenant Governor of Virginia, but withdrew before the Primary.

Kecia has signed on as a Child Care Champion with Virginia Promise Partnership, confirming her support for the goal of ensuring access to quality, affordable child care for all Virginians by 2030. "We will proudly be sharing information about commitments from you and other leaders through the Virginia Promise in Action companion organization in the coming weeks," said VPP Director Krysta Jones. Kecia has been endorsed by the Virginia Democratic Small Business Caucus (VADSBC). The VADSBC unites the small business men and women of Virginia to support the Democratic Party and its candidates, encourage active participation of small business men and women in the Party, encourage, educate, and finance Democratic small business men and women who aspire to public office, and raise awareness of small business issues in the Commonwealth and the Virginia Democratic Party.

Kecia's campaign has been awarded the 2021 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction.
